Lymphoedema is the accumulation of excessive amounts of protein-rich fluid resulting in swelling of one or more regions of the body. Low levels of Chronic inflammation, reduced wound healing can also be accompanied by fibrosis in this condition.
CLT or DLT is an ongoing treatment and management of lymphoedema. The staging and classification of your lympoedema will determine the treatment protocol which will be individual and reassess throughout.
